Jazz CEO Reveals 1400 Mbps 5G Trial Speeds in Islamabad’s F-7 Sector

JazzWorld CEO Aamir Ibrahim has revealed the first results of Pakistan's 5G network trials, offering an early glimpse of what next generation mobile technology can deliver.

The trials were conducted in Islamabad's F-7 sector following the recent spectrum auction. They recorded download speeds of 1400 Mbps, a dramatic leap over current 4G speeds and a clear sign of the capacity that 5G can bring to the country.

Most of the newly auctioned spectrum was acquired by Jazz, and the company says it will boost network capacity while supporting both a 5G launch and stronger 4G coverage. Faster speeds, lower latency and more stable connections could power high definition streaming, cloud gaming, virtual meetings and other live digital applications.

Jazz has not yet announced a date for commercial launch, but the trials mark an important milestone in the rollout. They also show Pakistan's telecom sector investing seriously in the infrastructure needed for modern mobile connectivity.

For consumers, the promise is tangible: smoother video calls, faster downloads and better performance across everyday online applications, plus a competitive edge for businesses built on fast and reliable internet.
