ZLK Islamic Financial Services has joined hands with Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Limited to widen access to investment products that comply with Shariah. The memorandum of understanding was signed in Karachi by Junaid Ahmed, chief executive of the bank, and Zahid Latif Khan, chairman of ZLK. Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan is a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank of the United Arab Emirates, described as the world's first Islamic bank, while ZLK is presented as Pakistan's leading Shariah compliant brokerage. The alliance targets Roshan Digital Account holders and local customers with ethical products that are free of Riba, including shares, government Ijarahs, Sukuk, exchange traded funds and Murabaha share financing. Both sides say the goal is to bring more Pakistanis into formal, faith based investing and to deepen financial inclusion. Junaid Ahmed said the bank is committed to pioneering Islamic banking solutions and that the partnership would expand access to innovative products while promoting inclusion and prosperity. Naveed Malik, the bank's head of consumer banking, said the tie up fits the bank's vision of generating Halal Munafa, or lawful profit, for customers. Zahid Latif Khan called the deal a step forward in offering diverse and ethical opportunities to a wider client base. ZLK holds a Shariah compliant brokerage license from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, which the firm says cements its standing in ethical finance.
